Dressage Clinic with Nancy Kleiner
Respected dressage trainer Nancy Kleiner of Bloomington, Indiana teaches twice a month at Sierra Woods Farm. Auditors and haul-ins are welcome. Call or email for details.
Since 1995, Nancy has been certified as an USDF instructor. She has been riding dressage for over 30 years and has been teaching more than 20 years. She is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist as well as a USDF "L" judge with distinction. Nancy initially began her horse career in jumpers, moved to eventing, and then dressage.
Nancy speicales in biomechanics, the relationship between the mechanical aspect of riding, and the biology of the human body fitting into those mechanical principals. She works on rider position and horse relation to make your horse happy and comfortable.
Flatwork and Jumping Sessions with Robert Mendoza
Robert Mendoza spends several Saturday afternoons a year teaching private and small group lessons. Robert is the head trainer at Belgian Warmblood breeding farm, Bannockburn Farm LLC. Multitalented in all aspects of horse training, Robert is gifted in starting youngsters across multiple disciplines as well as taking the more experienced horse to achieve its maximum potential in the jumper arena. Robert has 20+ years of competing in top show rings from the Northeast to Florida and got his start at age 13 as a working student to Joe Forest of Horton's Farm in Grantham, New Hampshire. As he aged out of the juniors and into a professional role, Robert has ridden under the tutelage of Michael Page, Norman Dello Joio, and Aaron Vale.
