Sierra Woods Farm provides lessons Tuesday-Sunday. We have availability mornings, late afternoon and evenings. Our lessons are one half hour for private and one hour for semi-private or group. For the safety and security of our riders, all beginner students start out in private lessons. When riders can demonstrate proficiency at the walk, trot and canter then they are allowed to advance to a semi-private or group lesson. We prefer our riders to have their own helmets and boots but we do have some helmets available if necessary. Our focus is on safety and the fundamentals of good riding.

We have an excellent stable of lesson horses capable of teaching all levels and ages of riders. We strive to produce riders with good horsemanship skills in an enjoyable environment. Our riders who compete regularly are no strangers to championships and year end awards. Our program is well rounded and fun.
